Rizvi was awarded first place in the Abu Dhabi International Airport Interior Design Competition for the design of a new domestic aviation terminal at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The components represented in the design include the passenger ticketing hall, the greeters hall, the departure waiting rooms and the baggage claim area. The presentation materials were created with elaborate three-dimensional drawings. Conceptually, the design objective was to harmoniously incorporate both an Art Deco theme and references to traditional Abu Dhabi design elements.
