Mayaguana Regional Plan - Mayaguana Island, Bahamas

Rizvi were land and regional planners for Mayaguana Island, a 110 square mile island in the southern Bahamas. This island, with a current population of only 300, is expected to grow as a planned community of 40,000 people in the next 25 years. Rizvi prepared a regional plan for the entire island, encompassing both local and foreigner communities. The support infrastructure includes an airport, road and transportation network, utilities such as power, reverse-osmosis desalinated water and sewer.
