Rizvi prepared a master plan for possible building opportunities on land bordering the existing buildings of the Smithfield corporate campus. Working with Pressley Associates, the team developed footprints and circulation plans for a 600,000 s.f. and two 35,000 s.f. building schemes. The team developed over 15 different schematics and analyzed their landscape position, parking reqiurements, building adjacencies and core/structural feasibility. The team also paid special attention to the aesthetic experience of the site and how to integrate building and landscape. Massing models and a landscape model were prepared to study the significant building relationships and views out into the surrounding forest land.
